In the event of a rider leaving the saddle a lanyard linking the rider to the saddle pulls the activation key from the jacket releasing the CO2 into the airbag system within 0.25.s

The jacket is supplied with a canister and a lanyard and weighs just over 900 grams. The jacket comes in three sizes small - large, the sizing is more to do with the length of upper body, please ring for advice if you are unsure of size.
